Bruce Barteaux is President of Scope Ministries International where he also participates as a senior Biblical Personal Guidance Staff member and teaching classes. Bruce was accepted on scope staff in 1988. He completed his training and began ministering as a personal guidance minister. In June of 1993 Bruce, Donna and three of their children moved to Kinston North Carolina and established Hope Ministries. They ministered there for 10 years until they returned to Oklahoma in July of 2003. He assumed the Presidency of Scope in January 2006 after serving three years as Executive Director. Bruce also has been very active in the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, serving as coordinating chaplain during the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in the Gulf Coast. He and his wife Donna, have three sons, two daughters and one granddaughter. Bruce has represented Scope internationally as well as at nationwide meetings. Bruce enjoys carpentry, playing the guitar, and outdoor sports. |
