Transforming Lives Internationally - in Cancun,
Mexico 1999!

June 16 - 23,
1999, Scope was invited to come and train pastors at the
Mexico Mission Building located in the suburbs of Cancun,
Mexico. |
|
|
|
During the week, 24 children came to Christ for the first
time. Praise God! |
| We had the privilege of
spending a week training pastors with our material. One team
member talked about the role that expectations, anger and
bitterness played in their lives. She also shared with all
those who attended how they could find freedom from living
lives full of anger and bitterness and about the importance
of forgiveness. |

Another team member gave a
talk on the “performance Treadmill” during the conference.
He helped the pastors see how they can be free from trying
to perform for God, and also see that they are totally
accepted by Him. |

| During the pastor’s conference,
a children’s conference was also held. Along with the teaching
was games, singing and crafts. These children were very open
to all that was taught. During the week, around 24 children
came to Christ for the first time. Praise God! |

During this week we taught the
pastors, as well as the children, who they are in Christ, what
it means to live in the power of the Holy Spirit, as well as
what it means to be a Christian. We had a wonderful time
getting to know these precious people and training them with
our material. We are forever grateful to them for having us
and will treasure the time that we got to worship our Savior
together. |
