Transforming Lives Internationally - in Kiev,
Ukraine - 2002!
March 14 - 30, 2002, a Scope team had the privilege
of teaching Be Transformed to the third and fourth year
students at Kiev Christian University and at the Ukrainian
Evangelical Theological Seminary. The desire of the team was to
help the students combine what they learned academically through
the University and use with a practical application from the
teaching of Be Transformed first for themselves and then to
the people they would be ministering to. |

The team had the awesome experience of standing before students
who are well educated while being humble of spirit, who are
challenging yet receiving of the principles being taught. The
countenance of the students, as well as the staff, was worthy of
their calling. They were kind and gentle, one of acceptance and
hospitality, both of which are so seldom seen in a world that
looks out for itself. Only the fires of life while walking with
God can bring about an attitude of one body and one spirit. These
wonderful people have a heart for God that is not tainted by so
much abundance that they have forgotten from where they came, they
have an air of innocence about them. They have a heart of
gratitude and desire to learn from brothers and sisters who also
have a desire to help prepare God’s people for the works of
service so that the body of Christ maybe built up until we all
reach unity faith.
The team thanks Kiev Christian
University for their wonderful hospitality and graciousness in
letting the team come along side and minister!
