EARLY 1900'S ROSE OF SHARON QUILT MINT NR!
For sale is a Rose of Sharon Quilt that that is a hand quilted and
appliquéd. Made circa 1920's from the estate of Clara Rosenthal Weitzenhoffer.
The family is well known in Oklahoma for its philanthropic activities. Below is

Quilting-Pattern/Amount: Feather wreaths and 1 inch cross hatching. Heavy
overall.
Description: Six appliquéd blocks set with alternating white blocks and wide
swag border of green with pink loops.
Backing: White
Edge Finish: Finished with the white of the background.
Construction: Very good workmanship
Quilting: Very good workmanship
Condition/Restorations: Excellent.
Provenance: From the estate of Clara Rosenthal Weitzenhoffer. The family was
well known in Oklahoma for its philanthropic activities.
Notations: This quilt is one of a pair. The quilts are included in a collection
of very good quilts from one estate.
