SPRING 2009 THURSDAY NIGHT SEMINARS

THE TUNING FORK PRINCIPLE — When the world is singing its song, if our heart is full of the world, we will hum right along with it. In the same way, if our heart is full of the Lord we will sing along with Him. The main questions we will try to answer are, “Why do I keep humming the world’s tune and how do I sing along with Jesus instead?”

GRACEFUL LIVING IN A LEGALISTIC WORLD — It is not difficult to step off the performance treadmill, but it CAN be difficult to get the performance treadmill out of you. In this seminar we will examine the difference between Law and Grace and experiencing graceful living in an ungracious world.

PARENTAL FAITHFULNESS — Our culture reveals “man’s” way of raising children, and it isn’t working. Parental Faithfulness unfolds God’s perfect plan for this seemingly abstract and confusing topic. Let’s explore the “Way” from God’s Word.

FIGHTING FOR OUR FREEDOM — Often biblical freedom is lost in its mirror image. We miss the unencumberance of freedom because the laws we continue to place ourselves under, and we endure the hardships freedom’s limits protect us from. Join us as we look at the authentic freedom of Jesus’ exhortation…a freedom whose foundation is grace.

UNDERSTANDING RELATIONSHIPS — We will learn what type of relationship God desires for us to have in Him, ourselves and others. We will look at ways to cultivate good relationships and how to receive healing in broken/hurtful relationships.

KINGDOM PROTOCOL — As sons and daughters of the King of kings, we are royal by rebirth. Our nobility comes from training in righteousness. We will learn what the protocol of the kingdom of God looks like.
