Scope is designed to equip Christians for dealing with their own life’s issues and for ministry to others. The principles taught give a Biblical perspective on the root causes and the solutions to life’s problems.

PNEUMANETICS:

Scope Ministries’
philosophy of Biblical counseling, an intensive
study of the important Biblical principles used in
counseling. Includes lectures, Bible studies,
personal applications, and group discussions.
Excellent for anyone involved in personal ministry.

EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLESHIP: |
|
This class will include training on how to give your testimony in three minutes, how to make transitions into the gospel presentations, how to use Pneumanetics to present the gospel, and the basics in discipleship.
PREREQUISITE: Pneumanetics |

SMALL GROUP FACILITATING: |
|
Includes principles of small group dynamics, the process of trust, guidelines for interaction; teaches responding to group members, encouraging discussion, clarifying answers, staying on track, handling difficult questions.

BIBLE STUDY METHODS: |
|
Presents several methods of Bible study with the main emphasis on the Inductive method. It will include many pratical tools to enable students to search out for themselves the meaning of Scripture. This class will focus on Biblical truths that relate to the counseling principles used at Scope. It will present ideas for devoitional study of the Bible and discuss ways to apply what is learned in meditation and quiet time. Cursory observations, work-studies, character studies, book outlines, structuring and other tools will be covered. |

INFORMATION:
All classes require 3-5 hours of
homework/week. TUITION: $25.00 waived when deposit and
tuition paid PRIOR to
deadline date
of class. Class size will be limited! Inquire about
special rates for senior pastors of local churches and their
spouses.
